Thank you for your interest in Emmanuel Christian Academy! We are so excited you and your family are considering our school for your child’s education! Our mission is to partner with families in preparing their children to pursue distinction and integrity by providing excellence in Christ-centered academics, integration of a Biblical worldview, and a safe, nurturing environment.
Emmanuel Christian Academy’s philosophy of education centers on rigorous, quality education with integrated Biblical values. Emmanuel Christian Academy operates under the premise that all truth is God’s truth and is practical for today. This is based on the belief that Biblical education begins in the home. (Prov. 22:6, Eph. 6:1). Parents who have fostered a respect for God’s laws and a sense of individual responsibility will find these same values promoted by the staff. The church and the Christian school act as supplements to the ministry of the home, providing assistance to the parents and acting as representatives of them at school. Our goal is to develop the whole child — spiritually, mentally, socially, physically, and emotionally.
This goal will be accomplished only through active, meaningful involvement of students, parents and staff.
At Emmanuel Christian Academy, you are choosing a future for your child that, together with the home and the church is built on a sure and solid foundation. We welcome you to His school and all He has to offer!
In Christ’s service,
Emmanuel Christian Academy Faculty and Staff

Statement of Faith
We the ministry of Emmanuel Christian Academy believe and teach the following:
We believe there is only one true and living God, revealed in three persons: Father, Son and
Holy Spirit, and triune God created all, upholds all and governs all.
(Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 10:25-30)
We believe God the Father is infinite and personal, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love;
He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men; hears and answers the prayers of believers;
and saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
(Genesis 1:1, 1 John 1:9, Ephesians 1:5, John 14:6, John 5:48)
We believe Jesus Christ is God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless human life, performed
miracles, died on the cross to pay the price for our sins, rose from the dead the third day, then
ascended to the right hand of the Father. We believe in and await His personal, visible return to
power and glory. He is fully God and fully man, God the Son, the second person of the Trinity.
(John 10:37-38, Matthew 1:23, Hebrews 4:15, John 2:11, Romans 6:23, 1 Corinthians 15:4,
Mark 16:1-7 & 19, Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11, John 8:58)
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer at conversion as the third Person of the Trinity.
It is by the Holy Spirit’s indwelling that the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
(Eph. 1:13-14, Acts 5:1, Romans 8:13-14; 1 Cor. 3:16)
We believe the scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, to be the Word of God, inerrant in the original manuscript and the only infallible rule of faith and practice. We believe that all people are born with a sin nature in need of salvation which is a free gift, bestowed by God’s grace alone and received by faith not by works. We assert that a believer’s salvation is secured by Christ alone, and is available to anyone who chooses to accept His free gift.
(2 Tim. 3:16-17, John 3:3-7, Ephesians 2:8-10, Acts 4:12, Romans 10:9-10, John 10:27-28)

Frequently Asked Questions

2. If I am re-enrolling, will I have to pay the enrollment fee of $50?
-No, if you have paid the $100 re-enrollment registration fee with all registration paperwork turned in by
April 1st (with the remaining $200 paid by June 15.)
-Yes, if you wait until after April 1st and/or if registration is not paid in full by June 15.
3. Will my child’s spot be reserved if I pay my $150 registration fee and the $50 enrollment fee?
-Yes, if paid by June 15.
-No, after June 15, your child may be in jeopardy of losing their spot to another fully registered student.
4. Can I make payments for my registration fees?
-Yes. Once the initial registration fee is paid, you may make payments toward the balance of your registration fee. However, please understand that you may lose your spot if your $300 registration fees are not fully paid by June 15.
5. Can I begin to make early tuition payments for the 2017-2018 school year when I register my child?
-Yes! We can begin a payment plan for you as soon as your child is fully registered. Please see the finance department to discuss arrangements.
6. What is a STO and how can it benefit my child(ren)?
-An STO is a School Tuition Organization that facilitates the AZ Private School Tax Credit Program which provides tuition scholarships to qualifying students. A scholarship may be available to help pay for all or a portion of your child(ren)’s tuition. Please talk with our finance department for more information on how these scholarships might benefit your child(ren).
7. Am I required to make monthly tuition payments even if I’m expecting STO’s to pay a portion or all of my student(s) tuition during the year?
-Yes, if your tuition balance is greater than the amortized tuition balance in a particular month.
-No, if your tuition balance is lower than the amortized tuition balance in a particular month (in which case your account would in a prepaid position and a payment would not be required until it is no longer in a prepaid position).
8. Why is it necessary that I make monthly payments if I expect STO funds to come in by the end of the year for my student(s)?
-ECA operates on a monthly cash basis and its only regular source of cash/revenue is from tuition charged to students. In order to pay the school’s monthly operating obligations (i.e. payroll, rent/utilities, etc) it is necessary that we collect the monthly tuition regardless of its source (parents or STO’s).
9. If an STO makes a payment in excess of my student’s annual tuition amount, will I be reimbursed for the overage?
-Yes, if you have also made tuition payments throughout the year you will be reimbursed up to the amount of your total payments made only. Anything in excess of your payment total will be reimbursed to the STO(s).
